small rant .... just rewired my rig from this and my digi cam is no where to found .... I'm ictching to show my results .... as it turns out she loaned it to her friend ....aaahhhhhhhhh .... thats it ... I want my MP3 player, thumb drive and digi cam back :frown: .... end rant

got the cam back and her is the after pic

I think theres a difference between letting your SO mess w/ your stuff and having your SO loan it out to other people.

well, one of the main reasons I've been able to afford all of my new toys is that I've been single for 2 years now. And when I meet someone in the future...I'll tackle her if she tried to use a fingernail to touch a speaker cone like my best friend did. Other than that, unless it's a fling, I expect my SO to be competent enough to operate my system. Honestly, open, dvd, close, change input, navigate menu. ooooooooh.

I hear ya there. It took mine about 4 days to learn how to turn on the tv. I have one of the Sony touchscreen remotes and that combined with my Harman Kardon just proved to be too much for her to handle. lol

What's the big deal about touching a speaker cone with a fingernail?

What about if she's the one who buys your toys for you? 🙂
I should be so lucky

My SO bought my first home theater projector and Stewart screen (only 80" though). Alas, that's where the addiction started.

So in other words, there's yet another reason for me to hate you.

😉

(as for the speaker cone...there's nothing really wrong with touching it, but you can imagine how nervous you can get thinking about "what if she pushes too hard")
