Do You Leave your Printer on?

Do you leave you printer on even after you turn off your PC?

Just wondering since I leave mine on even if I turn off my PC's...

Off - uses more energy than anything else does, I believe.

I only power down all peripherals when leaving for an extended period of time.

I turn the inkjets off, because that's the only time some of them park the printhead.

Lasers go into sleep mode, so they stay on.

on --- especially because in all their wisdom, HP didn't design the LaserJet 1200 with a Power on/off switch.

Canon i560 here, Mine has an automatic off/on so I leave it "on" all the time😀

Yeah i hate that crap, but then they came out with the 1300 which is the same thing with an off/off switch.....geniuses.

I turn it off, but if I hit the print button it turns on by it self.

I leave mine off because even though I have 3 or 4 of them, I never use them.

my printer turns on when i hit print and after it idles it goes back into off mode...so off..but its 'on'
