Agreed. :)

Mine goes up about 4C if I leave the case open. It also goes up 1-2C if I cover the blowhole.

actually, i dont have a case... its mounted under my desk...
runs quite cool :)

Leaving any computer open is a bad idea. Some little kid or a nosy cat might just pull on a drive cable while you are running and then say goodbye to your computer.

Buy a case that has better cooling, not one that looks radded out. The Lights and whistles dont make it run better.

That XP-90 keeps those temp. issues out of mind, and out of sight.

It's not a fixall, but dampening material helps. Much better to kill the noise at its source.

Post up your specs (in a separate thread, maybe, to avoid jacking this one) and we'll pick apart the noisemakers. :D

I have 1 Rig that the side is always off so I can test and experimant with... another one has the Case closed esp in the Summer time so I can run the Central Air duct through ;)

The rest are on and off :p
