So we have some relatives staying over at our house, and they have this terrible habit of closing the door behind them after using the bathroom. This presents a a few problems as:
a) I always have to knock to figure out if there's anyone inside, and there are few times worse to bother someone when they're in the bathroom.
b) It reduces potential airflow inside there when the door is closed, which after showers and #2's aren't beneficial at all. And the bathroom is at the end of the hall so it'd be impossible to tell if it's open or closed anywhere in the house.
c) With my relatives who live far away visiting, we've had other visitors as well who've never been here--and with the door closed there's no way to tell which room is the bathroom.
d) Out of pure respect, when in Rome--leave the door as it was as it was found, rather than what you're habitually used to.
I personally can't think of any good reason to leave it closed really..is there?
