Do you know what this means?

I'm trying to run a comm program but I get the error message:

<< component 'mswinsck.ock' not correctly registered, file is missing or invalid >>

I've searched for this file on both my win98 systems and can't locate it.

Any clues as to where to find it and where to install and/or configure it?

I think that winsck.ocx has something to do with the TCP/IP stack, you may want to reinstall TCP/IP related things, or I think ActiveX 6.02 or later will fix it

I think to register it if you can find the file on the internet, you need to type:

REGSVR32 mswinsck.ocx

REGSVR32 is is C:/Windows/System

I have had a look and found this: DLL Star
