Do you know what the term "Homer" is in baseball?

Yeah, if you catch a blank spot, I pressed enter accidentally. My apologizes.. But yeap, asked 2 people from the east coast, they had no idea what it was (it surprised me, cause I knew and I'm from the west coast).

Course one guy said lavatory over bathroom/restroom, so heh.

As stated from Smarterchild
Noun
1. Baseball A home run.

...oh. I voted for simpson before I realized my idiocy. it was too obvious for me to even think of.

if the topic was baseball, then yea i'd understand. randomly say 'homer' to me, and im gonna be confused. as long as baseball is somehow implied, like mentioning a player, a score, etc etc.
and lavoratory? lmao

Well in the East Coast I met quite a few people who had no idea what "soft drinks" were. They called it "pop" there.

we call it pop here in ohio, same in michigan. but i know that its called soft drinks or cola or soda in other places... where and what words match up i got no clue though lol

In the east they call throwing the ball back and forth, "Have a catch." In the west, it is "Play catch." (Check it out the next time you see "Field of Dreams".)

I call it soda, soft drinks and pop are usually said elsewhere.

Who the hell cares. Not everyone watches baseball, nor gives two shits about it.
I don't understand how you guys get so worked up about someone not knowing what a baseball term means.
