Versatility? Name something you can do on a Windows box that 75% of normal computer users would do and I guarantee you can do it on a Mac. A better arguement would be price but I see you're not taking that angle.
 
i think most everybody know what an ipod is, but no other hd players. 9/10 comments towards my Creative Zen starts with, "is that an ipod?"
