Someone I work with is going to a benefit concert and there will be one well-known musician there, but he won't say who it is b/c he is supposed to keep it a secret. But he did give us a couple of subtle hints. Maybe you guys will have better luck coming up with his name. Here are all the hints I was given...

Hints:

First name STARTS with "G"

Last name ENDS with "E"

Is as well-known as Bob Dillon

He is known as a soloist (but I'm sure he has played with other people)

He can play bass guitar

I think, my friend mentioned that he has been known to play some country.

I think he's an old guy.

Any ideas? I am totally stumped. 🙁

I just read Geddy Lee's bio and that sure fits the description. Bass guitar extroardinaire. Well-known (although I didn't know who the hell he was). The name fits the clues as well. When my friend is ready to talk I'll try to respond back, let you guys know if it is in-fact Geddy Lee.
