Do you know the age of consent in your state?

I was talking to my cousin on the phone earlier today and part of the conversation was "Man, if she was just one year older, I'd tap it like a beer keg and run it til it was dry" -> commenting on a girl he likes having turned 17.

Anyways...my response to him was..."dude, you DO know age of consent in jersey is only 16 right?".

He was floored.

So do you know the AoC in your state?

PS - Yes, I occasionally use the word "dude" in my vocabulary.

14 in GA, but funny thing is, you tap it and her parents don't like it, you go to jail. Statutory rape charges, or child molestation,

It's actually 16 now. They changed it a few years back. Fornication law (I think that's what you're referencing) was recently struck down as well.

Linky.

in California it's 18, but there has to be an age difference of at more than three years. So, if you're 19 and your girlfriend is 17, you're fine since the age difference is only 2 years.

In no state that I know of your dog can't consent no matter how old he/she is 😛

As long as you don't cry rape it's ok. The problem you run into is if one of you is under 16... then the parents can get involved and prosecute for statutory rape even if the underage individual says that sex is ok.

Yeah, but what kind of wretched loser would do that?

There are a number of high school age individuals dating partners who are younger than 16. I wouldn't be surprised to see that at all.

Now if somebody's twenty and dating someone under 16 you might have problems.

More like, the parents find out their baby is having sex and take out their anger on the guy their daughter is banging. A case along these lines led to the GA fornication law being overturned.
