Do you know someone that flipped out and went on a rampage?

"Yes, but not well," and "kind of."

Dude was quiet, generally affable, but had a temper. He showed it to a few people, though, and they warned me to stay away from him.

When he finally had a freakout at home while "cleaning his gun", he didn't kill anybody, and he didn't pull the trigger, and charges were eventually dropped (stockholm syndrome) so I'm not sure it qualifies as a rampage, either. But domestic violence is a bitch.

I've run out of weed and smashed some stuff with a big hammer.

Felt good.

It's unhealthy to keep those kind of emotions bottled up.

Yes, the corporate world is always clueless, uncaring and, totally shocked when someone holds them accountable even though they were warned multiple times. Luckily, I decided the rest of my life was worth more than the brief satisfaction of dropping an upper manager off the roof of a building but, I did let him dangle a while. :D

Kid I went to high school with ended up murdering his own brother a few years ago. Details of the case never got published by our crappy local paper so I don't know what the motive was. I was in a few classes with the guy but I don't really remember him. Then again a lot of high school memories have been confined to a locked filing cabinet in the back of my mind. :p

A fellow I knew, came home from Vietnam, found out his wife was living with some other guy...walked up to their door, rang the bell, and shot her to death when she answered the door.

NO ONE saw it coming. He was a mild-mannered sort...would be a geek by today's standards. (communications guy IIRC)
The judge took his situation under consideration when he was sentenced...1 year in county jail, 10 years on probation. NO prison time.

No. Because no one I know has a gun. Rampage with a knife or suv just isn't the same
