Do you know of any films that have been reported as influencing violent crimes?

I'm working on a paper right now and I'm trying to land a few examples to use in it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Edit: News reports would be great, but some gists are alright.

Well, I don't think there is a direct correlation between violence in movies and violent crimes. However, I do believe that we (Americans) in general are quick to resort to violence/guns in a confrontation. Seriously, ask some kids some questions and record the responses.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get across with this paper. Even though there are some direct connections (which I'm trying to find) between movie violence and real violence, that doesn't mean that it is the correct location to point your finger. I'm just trying to add perspective to both sides of the issue.

Something like "A young male, John Doe, said he gathered inspiration for his shooting spree from the movie 'Pulp Fiction'" you know.

I think on the TechReport site there was an article arguing from a statistical standpoint that violent video games DO NOT influence violent behavior (i.e. Correlation does not equal causation)

John Hinckley attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan was said to be influnced by the film Taxi Driver.

In The Program, there was a scene where some players laid down in the street along the center line while traffic zoomed by. A bunch of incidents around the country followed with kids imitating the movie, and they cut the scene.

Also, some five year old started a fire after watching Beavis and Butthead, leading them to change the time slot and remove Beavis' "Fire! Fire! FIRE!" scenes.
