Do you know anyone with HIV or AIDS?

I was reading that we, in the US, have surpassed the 1 million mark of people infected with HIV or AIDS.
Do you personally know someone who has either?
How did they get it?

I know 3 people who do. Two black gay males, who got HIV through sex with other gay males, and one white female, who got HIV through a blood transfusion when she was younger.

I don't know of anyone that has AIDS/HIV. I suppose that doesn't mean I don't know anyone that has it though.

That's shytty to get it through a blood trans. I guess if i had to i'd rather get it that way than itb from a gay black guy.

HIV is HIV. I guess she can take some solace that it's not her fault, but the stigma is still there.

I know a couple that has HIV. They got it from sharing needles. It's a shame, they're only 18 years old.

The one person I knew has died. He got it from unprotected gay sex.

only 1 person in my social circle. altho I did volunteer work at the local Gay Men's Health Center, where I met quite a few people with HIV/ AIDS.

no, but i know some one with Hepatitus C, she a dental higentist, and got cut while working in someones mouth who had the disease, Whats dumn though, now that she has a liver disease, she started drinking (to the getting drunk point).

Yeah, I know someone who's HIV+. She got it from her mom.
