do you know anyone with a 3 acre lawn?

Everyone I've ever known with a lawn that large uses a riding mower, with the exception of my grandma. I don't remember who usually cuts hers, but he uses a regular one. Must be a pain.

we have three acres, and use a riding lawn mower for the bigger parts and push mower for the trickier areas. 3 acres really isn't that much, especially where I live. Most people have 20-200 acres. Of course they only mow a small portion of that 🙂

My father-in-law has almost 4 acres of lawn. He uses an old 1930 John Deere (yes, a full size tractor) with a pull behind mower.

It's not a huge tractor and doesn't seem to mess up the lawn at all.

Cub Cadet 1525 I think. About 2k at Lowes. I did my research last year and found that Deere just isn't a great deal in the riding mower class.

Riding. My friend just got about 30 acres out in the "country" so to speak. He mows the front, the back that's the "backyard", and a trail through his property. Presumably chomps on the snakes too 🙂

I've got a buddy that has 6 acres of mowed lawn. He uses a comercial mower, like they use on the sides of expressways. He bought it with the house. 50hp if I remember rightly.

BTW-he installed a car stereo in it hooked to some audiophile headphones.🙂
