Do you know anyone in the Special Forces/CIA/FBI/Secret Service?

I have a friend who used to be a Ranger, and a guy who used to come to our Halo lans every Monday got in the Secret Service.

I met a few Secret Service dudes when I worked for a dealership service dept.

They brought in a HEAVILY modified Ford van once, with the check engine light on. They wanted it worked on, but nobody was allowed to get inside.

So we sent them down the road.

But I had other Secret Service customers, FBI customers, DEA, SBI, etc.

Was on pretty friendly terms with the FBI dudes....they were normal guys outside of work.

I met a few Secret Service guys (Presidential counter-sniper unit) & had the opportunity to talk with them for ~45min..but that's about it..

All of the above. I have one friend that works for the State Department providing security to diplomats and another friend who retired from the CIA after 25 years or so. Spent the last few years in Afghanistan.....

yeap. my father was a ranger (AIRBORN!)

my uncle was in a different unit but not sure what.

my nephew (in Afghanistan) is also in a special unit again not sure what one.

yes, worked with some navy SEALs, on a training exercise in Jordan...pretty cool guys.

my best friend is in the special forces.

he graduated from VMI,
commissioned into armor cav,
went tank training in fort knox,
got bored and asked for infantry assignment,
requested ranger training and got his wish to goto fort benning,
got bored and requested to go to airborne school and got his tab,
he's somewhere in iraq, at the moment, with long hair and beard

Hmmm...if anyone cares, Rangers (tan beret) and Special Forces (green beret) are not the same thing. Both are components of USASOC, itself a component of SOCOM...
