Do you keep your rig on your desk or on the floor?

Techincally it's on the desk but that equals only about an inch off the ground.

Had it on the desk until I thought about how much desk space I was losing. Now it's in a cubby hole under the desk.

I like the desk space, but my rig heats up sometimes in games. Gotta keep the door open in the summer.

Floor so I can change disks faster. Also, there's no room on the desk for it. Also, even if there was room for it, it would be too high up since it's a full tower.

My main rig is on my desk, the others are in a big entertainment center I had to move into my computer room to get it out of the family room.

Floor so it's out of the way. DVD Drive is towards the top of the case so it's actually easier to reach than if it were on the desk. I justhave to lean over a bit. I actually have 3 PCs under my desk but only one gets used.

Floor. My rig would deafen me if it was on my desk. Lots of loud fans. It's muffled a bit under my desk.

LOL... This question actually made me laugh... My machine is ~150 pounds, so I don't have much of a choice.

I prefer floor since it gives more desk room, but keep it on the desk instead since it seems safer for the computer. My first computer, a PCjr, died from getting peed on by a cat. Another time I had left Nero burning a disc and it ejected it when done. A friend came and used the computer and accidently kicked the tray that was sticking out, breaking the drive. It was my favorite drive too, an expensive SCSI Plextor. T.T
