Do you keep good personal records?

I'm a little obsessive compulsive in this regard. I like to do my books and review them almost every day. Kind of like how fantasy football players watch their players stats 🙂.

So do you keep good records of your personal expenses? If so what do you use?

I keep my personal books with quickbooks online. And I use MYOB for the other stuff.

Hell no. I'm not terrible, i just dont write it down. I can remember with decent accuracy what and where I spent money though, so it all adds up right at the end of the month.

I have to keep track of the money for the accountant, but I usually put it off as long as possible. I might do it twice a month, if I'm feeling generous.

My banking accounts do it for me.
My accountant keeps track of my business expenses and my investment advisor keeps track of my investments.
