Do you iron your jeans?

Since I throw all of my clothes on the couch when i'm done, I always iron them if I have to wear them (jeans, shirts, sweaters) again.

They shouldn't be in the dryer in the first place...a cold wash every now and then and then air-dry. A nice pair of jeans will lose their color and correct proportions if you wash them too much. GQ had a nice bit on how to care for jeans a month or two ago...some people go as far as sitting in a bathtub with their jeans on so it can conform to their body. (I haven't gone quite that far...but maybe Miami-DJ-guy has, whatever his nick is)

When I think of ironed/pressed jeans the image that comes to my mind is dime store cowboys.....so the answer is NO, I don't iron jeans.

heck even esquire says not to iron jeans.. its in things men should know about .... style Its a funny read actually.

I've only ever ironed my jeans once, after I'd kept a pair folded up in a bag for about a week and the bottom of one leg was creased at some weird angle. And only after I attempted to wear said crease out unsuccessfully over two days.

I iron mine; well not the entire leg, just the part in the front with the pleats.

you wear pleated jeans? <snicker>

uhhh yeah. :|

I only wear them on semi-formal occasions when non-pleated jeans are not dressy enough. They are some of the most comfortable pair of pants that I own. Granted the "stretchable" waistband helps with comfort when I am on the go.
