You need you a halon system.Yes, though I'd like to add more, and set them up so I can monitor through my home automation system. I do have one smoke detector that is monitored by my alarm company though, but they're 100 bucks a pop so I'd want to go the DIY route for the rest. Probably go with 1 per room. If a piece of electronics goes up in flames and the door is closed by the time it gets to the main detector and fire dept gets there it's probably too late and I'll lose the house.
