1-3 per day? Do you have a job?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Even when I do I'll read at LEAST 1 a day, sometimes more. It's not that hard when you read 50-100 pages an hour on average. I was also averaging. When in school I read nearly all day every day. I don't watch much tv, and when I do watch something it's on in the background while I'm reading. When I'm online I usually am reading at the same time, and only post at chapter breaks. When my friends and I hung out in high school we were quiet often all just sitting around reading. I'd say 60%+ of all of the free time in my life, since I was 5 or 6, has been spent reading.

I read a lot of books. But I have trouble reading most of them because - quite frankly - most books are not very good.

I should mention that I am a quick reader and when I am enjoying a book, I am immersed in it at the time. It's almost like watching a movie for me. However, if you ask me questions about the book later on, like the next day, I won't be able to remember much. I don't have much retention.
