It all started with my first car , A 1972 VW Bug,That car was just not fast enough so I bought a high performance engine for it, next it was my 1979 Trans-Am,Then it was a 1976 corvette, Then a 1990 corvette convertable (still have it),In 1997 I bought a new Harley and told my wife I would not touch it,Three years later I cant get it to go any faster, But as I sit here and type this I am thinking to myself, What can I do to get this computer to go faster......
Moral to the story , I HAVE THE NEED FOR SPEED......... DO YOU

I find that hard to believe. Plenty of things you can do!

Oh God YES!!!!!!!!!!!

My current 460 HP in the truck is still not enough..

Next I will be getting a cobra... yes put a blower on it you know the whole bit.

As far as computer... Voodoo3 is doing okay but I only have a Celeron 500.. time to dump some money into that I guess.... I need what paulson has 1 Gig would rock

Yes everything I own I want more speed and power......... No I have no relation to Tim Allen, But I see eye to eye on allot :)

I'll probably worry myself if I ever find myself putting a big block on my sit down mower.

Oh I DEFINITELY have it, and it's in a DORMENT state and it needs to stay that way!

My NFS (Need For Speed) is more of an out of control addiction that needs to be sequestered.

The last time that animal was let out of the cage, was when I had my Kawasaki ZX-9. Now, for anyone that doesn't know what this is...It's a 900cc motocycle capable of speeds over 160mph.

Okay, so you might say no big deal, plenty of people have fast bikes and know how to use them. But what if that were your FIRST bike (which in my case it was)? I learned how to ride that thing from 2 roommates i used to live with. In a matter of a few months, I was riding OVER 160mph and was dropping low enough in hard turns to grind the footpeg.

I wasn't saying that to brag, I was saying that because I was DOING IT WITHIN 3 MONTHS!!! Which means I had NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL I WAS DOING!!! My NFS completely shut-down my proper fear and respect roadblocks!

Shortly after 'waking' up to that fact, I sold the bike. I am SURE that if I continued giving in to my NFS, I'd be talking to John Edward right now (he's a Medium on Crossing Over)

i like speed myself....my fist car was a 74 charger with a 440 which i bored over and got a bigger cam and intake and racing heads and all that good stuff for it....but a little too expensive in gas, that's really the only big engine car that i have all the rest are 4 banggers....but the big 440 is nice..

dogbite, if you are willing to put in the money I suggest first contacting electromotive out in virginia and see if they have any ready made harley kits. Their Tec II engine management will turn your harley into a fuel injected bike (better straight across the board over carbs) and also control spark timing. Then stick a small turbo on it. Harlie's are louder than heck, too bad it takes so much to make their bite as loud as their bark.

i have a need for speed, but i hate it when people put high performance engines in a VW bug :) there is no such thing as a high performance bug! mini's....now theres performance ;)

seriously, there is nothing like getting a mini airborne crossing train tracks at 80km/h :D
