Do you have the dealer sticker on your car?

That was the first thing to go. I hate it when dealers do that!

how can i take mine off? it's rather small on the back of the car next to the license plate, but i dont like it.

I think I took the sticker off.....also have the dealers info my plates....which is annoying but can live with it.

My dealer didn't put one of those stickers on my car. Just the license plate holder, which I really don't mind. I HATE those stickers though.

my car had one of those license plate holders on it, and i took it off.....everytime i went to the dealership for something, be it a repair or oil change or what ever, they would always put another one on. i had a like 10 of them in my garage

I had the dealer take it off. I also removed the dealer plate frame off in the lot after I finished all the paperwork. Brought it back in and handed it to the salesguy who sold me the car.

I don't remember them paying me to advertise for them.

But, do you leave the manuf. name on the car?

Or do you wear clothes with logo's on them?

Maybe not, but, a lot of people do. I take the stickers off because they look out-of-place, not because of the advertising.

I took off my sticker ASAP. I agree it is a form of free advertising and it also takes away from the car's apperance. When you pay such an incrediable amount of money for something, where do they get the balls to be the first ones to deface it with that UGLY sticker!:disgust:

Obviously I leave the makers tag on everything. Some cheesy license plate frame or add on sticker for the middleman is a different story. I buy a product brand because I like it. I have yet to find a dealership that I would care to promote implicitly by advertising for them.

I came off the first day.
I own my car, ill be damned if they want to act like im sponsored by them.

I don't mind the license plate frames, but I don't like having something permenantly attached to the paint that doesn't belong there.

I make it a point to remove the big Sears sticker from my Fruit-Of-The-Looms. Thats the equivalent of what everyone is talking about.

i made it a selling point. i told them that if there was a dealer logo anywhere but the licence plate frame, i was not accepting delivery of the car.

needless to say, only the frame had their name, and was promptly removed.

I notice that there aren't many dealerships that do that in California. I do see a car now and then with the dealer emblem/sticker on it, but when I travel to Nevada, Florida, Alabama, Missouri, etc, every car has the emblem of the dealer, which threw me off. If I am driving around advertising the dealership, I best hope I got me a hell of a deal on the car 🙂

I actually had a dealer tell me it was illegal to take their sticker off. First thing I did when I got it home was remove the sticker and get rid of the residue. Then, did a proper clay, wax, and polish. 🙂

I have the dealer remove it when I buy the car.

Though I always offer them a decent advertising rate......they always seem to elect to remove it instead.
