i just ordered a black one from newegg.com. I just got it and it's great. It comes with 3 fans already installed. I already know its a good case becase many anand members recommend it. I was just wondering if any of you overclockers out there have found the 3 stock fans to be enough or if you have had to add more fans or replace the ones already there.

This case offers some of the best airflow out there, period. This is a big case and needs to move lots of air. I would get another two 80mm fans for the front of the case. Two fans in front suck air in, two rear fans blow air out. The PS blows air out. Don't mess w/it.

for over clocking replace those fans. I ripped that second 3.5" drive bay thing out of the front of my case and put a panaflo h1a 120mm up there and then put a top blow hole and another h1a 120mm up there, I also have a panaflo l1a 120mm fan in my window. I don't use the back 2 80's and I seem to get much better temps that way.

I have a 1030, almost 2 years now. It's really easy to install more fanpower than needed, the low restriction design means that they almost cool themselves. Mods are unnecessary, unless you just can't stand to leave it stock. Cooling is limited only by fan selection.

Start with the stock setup, see how it goes. In all likelihood, removing the front fan will have a negligible effect, and undervolting or replacing the rear fans with lower noise units can give good results.

Using four low noise panaflos or silencers seems to be a favorite, mine has silencers, but it's an overclocked Intel system....
