Hello ,

I'm Hs student , well and like always everyday I go to school , study there , but when I come home , it's like I was in some kind of trance in school , because I don't feel that it was me in school ... I don't know what's wrong with me ; )

Do you feel the same ?

Hey man, as long as you're chillin with friends, everyday is different. Unless you're sitting there listening to the same ish day in and day out you're get deja vu. Go meet new people and school will fly by so much faster.

KameLeon:

yes , I act very differently, in school I'm the quitest one, but at home with my family I'm fine ...

and yes I just have everything the same everyday ; (

The Zombie like way in which we seem to act is how we deal with MONOTONY.

I'll bet John Homes didn't have our problems.

Think about why you're extra quiet at school. Once you figure it out maybe you can change it or find an environment that makes you more comfortable. Don't worry about it, just start thinking about it.

anton....

a very normal reaction to such a controlling environment.

public schools want to break you. they are charged with assimilating you into 'society'. they want to 'prepare' you for life. if you were not in such a trance like state at school you probly hate every minute of your time spent at school.

my suggestion is to start doing other things that YOU like while at school. write, draw, think, or read things that have nothing to do with your class, all while you are at class, but make sure you keep your grades up. you can easily study on your own and learn the info needed for your classes.

if you keep your grades up and don't make a ruckus they will probly let you do what ever you want to do, but if your grades slip....they will realize that you are not assimilating.

this is YOUR life. figure out what is right for you and do it.

find you.
be you.
f*ck them.

HS was 12 years ago.... I barely remember last week...

I get that feeling at work sometimes though...

Especially when the weather is brilliant like today...
😉

I've been thinking about it and I wanted to let you know that I was like that. You really can't express yourself very much in school. I was an entirely different person outside of school. There are more options. Adults are more varied and more tolerant of a variety of people and ideas. It's easier when you're out of school because you can associate with people without being limited by age. I read an a sociological article that explained how alien high school is. In the past, young people weren't separated from the rest of society as much. Don't worry. Learn what you can in school and look for the rest out in the world - even if that world is home.

Don't let HS wear you down. Public schools are boring, uninspiring, and dehumanizing because they are basically holding pens for young adults.

During my HS years, I ignored the teachers and did my own thing. Funny thing was that they couldn't stop me because I kept my grades up.
HS is only 4 years of life. You get to move on to better things like College.
