Do you have rundll32.exe in task manager?

Do you have rundll32.exe in task manager? Since I no longer see the "explorer.exe", is it possible that rundll32 has replaced it? Should I be aware of any problems that this change may impact?

thanks

yes I have rundll32 in my processes, I even have 2 of em ...

it's quite normal

but I also have an explorer.exe running ....

Rundll32 basically loads and runs 32-bit DLLs. Once the related application is completed, you shouldn't see it anymore.
For example, when an installer starts you'll most likely see Rundll32 running. Once the installation is done, however, it should disappear from the task manager.
