Do you have multiple user names for diff places?

I don't. My ass is Moonbogg everywhere. Proud of it.

ATOT = Moonbogg.
BF4 = Moonbogg.

....um, yeah that about sums up my life :|

NO NO...I have others. Various forums I am Moonbogg. I like to be the same everywhere. Do you have multiple user names, and if so, why? You don't want people from one place to recognize you on another place? Why is that? Perhaps you are not capable of unique name generation, therefore your name is already taken? No but really, why?

At one time back in the day I had 27 user names. Not sure why but it was legit back then but today no reason to have so many. Google me and you can find posts on the internet going back to 1997.

I have a number of different user names at different places, mostly based on when I opened the account and how much anonymity I want.

I keep this name for almost all of my clearnet activities. I'm not particularly hard to find. It adds accountability, and I stand by pretty much everything I've said, ever.

Mostly. TomsHardware and the Minecraft (I know 😛) forums I go by different names because of issues with the registration.

You'd be surpised at how many forums/sites let you choose "root" as a user name.

It's even more surprising to see how many that user name is already taken, and has the password "root".

Anything new that I created in the past 3 or so years is all new and a bit random, but I was never consistent in choosing usernames anyways... not really.

While true anonymity doesn't exist I think making it more difficult for stalkers is always a good thing.

I need to change mine to a more unique one. Hexen is almost always taken when I join another forum or anything like that. So there are lots of Hexen's out there but only 2 sites I think where it wasn't taken.

I like simple, one word usernames that makes sense...but they are often taken.

I've always been Mong or Mong Grel and proud of it from way back in Beta testing the first EQ, and I use it on any forums.

Well was a period I did a few others in a game or two, but I usually stick to this.

I have 3.

Mainly because one isn't always available, so I came up with the second but it sounds stupid so I use a third one nowadays.

Mine are all completely random names like Lumpy, Dumpy, Frumpy, Bumpy, Humpy, Chumpy, Grumpy, Jumpy, and Pumpy.

I have this one and my professional one. I keep them separate because I have a huge stalker problem (as in I have at least a hundred restraining orders against people and I know two cops personally I can call for help in addition to 911). I run my network connection through 2 or 3 vpn's so no one can track me (not exactly sure, my IT guy set it all up).

Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I'll be watching you

Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
I'll be watching you
