Since it can't be done in the poll, I'd also like to know your age + number of fillings, and when you had your first one done.

22 no fillings.

Yep, at least 4 I think. Was cavity free last 2 checkups. So proud of myself for not f*cking myself too hard... Oh, and I'm 21.

37 - I voted 5-10, definitely pushing 10 if not a little more. I also have one root canal and another crown in hopes not to have another root canal.

edit: after my teen years I completely stopped getting cavities.

It was some soft spot on the backside of my 12 year upper molars. It will need a crown someday..

Kids are lucky now since they can have sealants put on their teeth. The occlusal (top) crevices of the teeth are very cavity prone especially when your teeth first erupt. Just flow a little plastic in those crevices and even a careless brusher is likely to get a pass.
I have everything sealed up that possibly can be.

I'm 44. Have 2 fillings that were put in when I was around 18. I blame braces for that. Haven't had a cavity since.

Braces never give you cavities. Only not properly cleaning your teeth while your braces are on will give you cavities.

I didn't get my first until I was around 17. I'm now 34.
