A few weeks ago I could not think of anything to buy. I set my $$$$ limit a bit higher and just spent a ton of money. But I am thinking after I am done with this round, I will be done for a while..

Anyone know the feeling?

As long as I have hobbies I'll want more stuff. A nice new lens, a gaphics card, more books, better mp3 player, another monitor, new laptop, better skateboard, ski pass. There's always something, it's just a matter of applying discipline with what you desire versus what you buy.

When I have a 300' luxury yacht and a Ferrari for every day of the week I'll have enough stuff ... maybe.

I have too much "stuff" but not enough of what I want. 😛

Once I have a house/garage and a good TV, my 'want list' will be just about done. Then I'll have to settle for upgrading...new camera, etc. 😀

Nah. You'll need a few dinghies to carry you to the big boy, a submarine, an underwater pleasure dome to take your submarine to, wenches to populate the dome, etc etc.

It really just goes on forever. You know no rest for the ultra rest and all that. It never ends.

i dont really have that much stuff but theres a number of things id kinda like, that i probably wont get.
Yeah same here, I have a pretty modest income and am able to afford most everything I really want. I'm pretty simple, even when I get out of college, get a real job, and have more disposable income I probably won't buy much more than I do now. Maybe splurge a bit more on electronic gadgets and AV equipment (wouldn't mind getting a decent home theater setup once I get my own place), but that's probably about it. I don't have any particularly expensive hobbies.

My wife says we have way too much stuff. The fact that we can't park cars in our garage tend to back her point of view.

I don't think I could ever run out of stuff to buy. That's the great (and terrible) thing about PC/electronics hobbies. There is always something newer and better to be had!

i have enough stuff. my cup runneth over!

i wouldn't mind a new set of irons though... maybe a new putter... a next gen gaming system would be alright for those rainy days on the couch... 0_0

well, just when I think we have everything, something else comes up

During the last month, we've been buying things for our new deck (grill, furniture, etc.)

My wife and I just signed up for golf lessons yesterday; we're going to need our own sets, shoes, etc.

As far as needs, yes, as far as wants, never! I always want new stuff, but I usually stop myself before I click "check out".

I have like 600 bucks worth of hard drives in my cart right now. SO tempting. I could pop them in my server and make another 2TB array. I don't NEED that space though. I already have 2TB and only using half.

I hate having stuff. I only like having the stuff I use or will use in the course of the year.

I love throwing stuff out.

I've spent the past few weekends getting rid of all the "stuff" I can.

It's amazing how I can fill a whole home with shit I never use.

But really theres some other stuff I'd like, I'm itching to get a RAID 5 capable NAS with at least 4 bays and fill it with 2TB drives.

I'd say I have enough stuff, most of it is used on a regular enough basis. However, I have more than enough books, most of which have been in storage for years.

That's true for me too, but I'm too cheap to be a regular upgrader. I try to get enough life out of stuff for replacing it. (For instance, my current scanner is 9 years old.)
