I don't particularly have any... I Am scared of heights (on building ledges) but had no problem skydiving last year.

1. Back when I was young @ church, this girl was DEATHLY afraid of dogs. She would start to cry and outright FREAK OUT when the cutest adult lab was just chilling with us. Of course all the church leaders thought she had to overcome her demons and started to pray furiously in front of her... All quite silly if I look back now. It's just a simple phobia.

2. My young brother went on a ghetto rollercoaster as a child. My mom thought it would be a kid's ride (at a ghetto carnival) since he LOVED trains... turns out the ride ended up being quite turbulent. My mom was SO worried as she watched my brother assuming fetal position in the ride. Since then, he's developed a phobia as a teen. But he also OVERCAME it at Six Flags few years ago. Outta boy.

Do you remember having a trauma as a kid with spiders or just came out of nowhere?

not at all but i mean i won't flip out if i see them. i just hate creepy crawler bugs in general.

another thing i kind of have a phobia about is taking fish off of the hook when i catch em. this stems from me getting cut by the top fin when I was a kid. i will ask other people to take the fish off the hook to this day if i catch something

I have that too..... not so much a phobia but it creeps me out. My dad took me fishing everywhere as a kid. I just couldn't stand those difficult unhooks where the fish swallowed the hook so deep, you end up using all your might and trip their whole internal organs out.

Still gives me the creeps. My dad does it with no problems.

I did actually have a fear of roller coasters for a few years... my parents took me on Space Mountain when I was five or six, and I was TERRIFIED. I didn't get over it until I was ten, when we got season passes to a local amusement park. Now I love them.

Heights. Even just a few rungs up on a ladder, I'll get a bit nervous.

I also don't care for bees or horseflies and deerflies, but that's really because I'm just not a big fan of pain. :)
Honeybees are fine, so long as they're the European variety. They're generally tame. Bumblebees are also nice, at least when feeding. I've already touched the hair on their backs while they're busy with their flowers, and they don't seem to care. If they want to get defensive about their flower, I've found that they're all bark, but no bite, buzzing madly at your face, but then flying away. However, I've never encountered a bumblebee nest; I can only assume that they'd be fanatical about defending that.
Bald-faced hornets - don't like them. Big hornets, big nests, and they're pretty mean about defense.

Horseflies and deerflies also have a penchant for carrying disease. My mom got a big swollen rash from a horsefly bite on her shoulder already, and the flies just hurt quite a bit when they bite. Mosquitos at least have small mouthparts that don't bother nerves too much. Horseflies just slice right in, in the hopes of lapping up blood that seeps out. Plus they're really freaking quick and agile, and some varieties can be over an inch long.

Crowds - crowds also make me really nervous. I can tolerate cramped spaces just fine, but being crammed in a room with a lot of people can put me quite on edge. It's not so much a "deathly fear," as a significant anxiety trigger. Ever since I was very young, I've always shied away from most other people, especially groups.

You remember the movie Finding Forrester with Sean Connery? Reminds me of the scene where Connery's character gets all scared being out in public at a baseball game.

found it.

Needles - I can't even look when I'm getting a shot. I had to skip the scene in Saw II where the girl gets tossed in the syringe pit. It literally made me feel woozy, like I was going to pass out. Surprisingly, I had no issues with the dude getting his skull sawed open and brain operated on (in Saw III) or the other gross stuff.
