DO you have any equipment that works different with different remotes?

My dvd player will only zoom in like 8x with its remote, but it will zoom in a lot more with my universal remote, it will also rewind at different speeds with each remote.

humm .. I dont really know how that could be.. your dvd player must support those features.. there should be some way of accessing them with the remote that came with it
