do you have an mp3 player if you are a fulltime working adult?

assuming you are a fulltime working, and not going to school..........do you have an mp3 player, and use it frequently?

I can understand students needing mp3 players, because walking around campus, and whlie studying....but for the working adult, do they need an mp3 player? going to work, most have a car w/ a cd player, and at home, they have a stereo, and the computer................I wonder how many people who are working have and use mp3 players a lot

I'm a college student with one, but i know fulltime working people with careers that use them. I think its good if you work on computers all day.

Yep. I work full time as a consultant and I use my mp3 player when traveling, occassionally in the office, and during work outs.

Yes, but I also work on a campus, so the walking around part applies to me. I use it for podcasts for the commute as well as exercising.

Nope, haven't even had a walkman in years. There are only two times I can listen to music, and both times I am near a stereo.

Zen Xtra to listen to CDs while riding my Lifecycle. One reason I got it was the amp on my flash based player was too weak (Lifecycles are great but loud).

My brother has an iPod, also for when he's exercising.

For normal music listening while I work, I have a server box with about 900 of my CDs ripped to lossless FLAC format, hooked up to an old Kenwood receiver and a pair of Polk bookshelf speakers.

I have an mp3 player so I can transport my collection to and from work. I develop all day and often zone out to my own music. I'm also considering a shuffle for this spring when I go cycling.

Do you mean a Portable mp3 player,
if thats what u talkin bout Willis...........

NO!

If you include my 40 lb tower, then yeah. LOL

I am an adult. I use my ipod in my truck on the way to work (I use an itrip fm transmitter), I use it while walking from the parking garage to my office building, I'll sometimes use it at work, I'll use it walking back to my truck, and then in the truck on the way home.

An Ipod is much better then CDs because every song on my ipod is something I like and that can't be said for a CD. An Ipod is better then burning a CD because it it quicker to transfer to the ipod then burn a CD, it holds many more songs so I don't have to switch between CDs, and I can configure multiple playlists.

My Ipod is just about my favorite toy these days.

I work in an office environment (Engineer) and use my 20GB player every day. I use it in my car as well.

my treo is my mp3 player but I use it rarely... like when I'm just waiting for my wife when she's shopping. I put movies on it too so I listen to mp3s even less.

I work full time (engineer) and use mine at work all the time. It's great when moving from server to server. I have headphones at my primary station if I'm going to be in one place for a while.

I bought a 256MB flash player for working out. Honestly, I used it a couple of times and haven't used it since. I don't like not hearing what's going on around me. I'd rather listen to other people's conversations and possibly join in then be isolated in my own world (most of the time).
