I have an LCD at home (15" 1024x768), but if I had it to do over again, I probably would have gotten a really nice flat screen 19" analog for the same price. The thing to remember about an LCD is that you are at a fixed resolution - I can't go above 1024x768 now even if I want to. So even though I have a 1.4ghz Athlon with half a gig of ram & a kick butt video card, 3D games are still only in 1024x768. If I had an analog monitor, I could drive them at a higher resolution...
Given that, it sure is nice having a monitor that weights about 10 pounds, and that takes only about a square foot of my desk - I can actually use my desk for things other than just the computer now...
