I throw my old memory foam pillows into my dog's zipper bed. She LOVES our memory foam bed and we have toyed with the idea of getting a chunk of foam from a wholesaler and cutting it up for her to use as a bed. Recently we threw out a coach and kept those foam cushions and scattered them around the house for her, and she seems happy with that.

She's an old Great Dane and I do want her old bones to be comfy. :)

If that's seriously only $40 I might spring for it. That's about two of the Costco beds and those wear out kinda fast.

Meh why not. It's marketed well. Not sure there is a scientific basis for it but I could definitely see dogs having support issues just like people.

my dog before it died slept on piles of laundry despite having a very nice large dog bed.

Bacon just turned 7 and we were actually looking for something more comfy for him. Even a typical large bed from costco is about $40 and they get clumpy after a few weeks.

I like how the homepage has everything, including the buying form with CC info. When you're counting on impulse buyers, make the process as simple as can be.

My dog sleeps on memory foam. I've always ordered King size mattress toppers (same cost as smaller sizes) and cut the extra off for her to use.

Haha I should get that for my cat. She always steals my chair when I get up to go to the bathroom, think she does not like her current bed. :p

Quite honestly that probably is a pretty good idea, especially for what appears to be their target demographic. As informercialtastic as this is, it doesn't seem to be that bad of a product at first glance. At least they thought of having a removable cover and a waterproof liner on the bed and as dogs do get older they can have problems with getting up and down. Our old dogs had arthritis, another had hip dysplasia, all of which made it obvious that they had comfort problems.
