do you have a sweating problem?

I seem to sweat a lot all the time... i don't think this is normal. I am not obese and i do go to the gym regularly. Whenever I do a "minimal workout activity" (i.e. walking for a short distance, or eating a meal..etc) I would sweat non stop. This problem is sometimes embarrassing and it is bothersome for me. So I am wondering if there is some type of non surgical method to help me reduce my over-sweating problem.

I had the same problem. Big sweat stains in my pits. I found a product called Certain Dri at my local Walgreens and that worked.

However, its so powerful that it made me itch very badly. I found a similar product called Maxim. They have a sensitive skin version. They do most of their business through eBay, which is a bit weird. But, its a great product. I highly endorse Maxim and Certain Dri. I can honestly they say they have changed my life and improved my self esteem.

That's a nice story.

You might want to check into regulating your salt intake. There's probably information on the subject somewhere.

Do you have heath insurance? You might wanna go see a dermatologist. They can give you pills and stuff to helf regulate.

Ive heard of people who use Certain Dri on their palms, forheads, etc. The product wasnt made for that purpose, but it should work.

how does this product work?

The aluminum ______ (some chemical) physically clogs the sweat pores. Its not dangerous because it redistrubutes the sweat to other parts of your body. So, instead of sweating a ton through my pits, i sweat a very very very tiny amount all over my arms, legs, etc. So small you dont even realize its there.

There is a really nice FAQ in the directions, but I seem to have thrown mine away.

certain dri site

The certain dri website has some good info. It isnt all about their product either. I can back up their info because I did plenty of research before buying anything.

so the maxim sensitive version works just as good as the normal certain dri?

It did for me. It is half strength. Certain Dri is 12% Aluminum Chloride and Maxim Sensitive is 6%.

It works fine for me. It took a few days to kick in and start working. It also took me two weeks to figure out how much of this stuff to apply. It can be pretty darn itchy if you put on too much.

Now I do have sensitive skin in general (thanks mom), so you might be fine with the full strength stuff.

Its just hyperhidrosis. Its actually a lot more common than I thought. Somthing like 10% among whites. I beleive its higher with asians.

True that is one problem. However, profuse sweating can be linked to high blood pressure, heart defects, diabetes, etc. Better to be safe.

My favorite color is blue but I hate wearing nice blue dress shirts because the good ol armpits make it like a swimming pool and it's embarrassing to raise the arms. Have tried a lot of different deodorants but none seem to make a difference. Might try certain dri, it sounds interesting.
