Do you have a special method of opening beer bottles without a bottle opener?

A friend from Germany a method where you have two bottles and use the other one as leverage to get the first one open. It impresses people especially after they've had a few beers in them already.

seeing as how he's welsh, are you sure they're actually his teeth?

Depends on where I am...if there's a cheap table or window sill nearby, I'll just pop it off on there. If I'm in a nice hotel, let's say...butter knife and slowly pry open the cap. The two bottle method can get messy sometimes. for me, I seldomly drink beer, so that dilemna doesn't come up very often.

Opened some on some dorm bunk beds. LOl we were hammered.

But usually if i have no can opening device the lighter is next best, if I have no lighter present I would ask someone for theirs.

I just bite the top couple of inches off the bottle. It's better if I have a buzz going on because then the glass hurts less, but whatever works.

I open the non-twistoff ones with my ring. Just put your finger on the bottlecap, hook your ring under it, and lift.
