I'm not sure I could live without a daily trip to Sonic to get a drink in a planet-killing styrofoam cup and the great crushed ice.

They still have the Pickle-O's in Austin?

For those who need to know, a Pickle-O is a slice of dill pickle that is deep fried. Mmm, mmm good. :p

Maybe Sonic is a Southern US thing, since the majority of their menu is fried stuff.

BTW, let me say that Sonic is awesome.

They have some of the best and biggest burgers that you will get from a fast food joint, their shakes are awesome and they have tater tots!

i dunno, i tried them, they weren't very good. their pickles don't taste like much to begin with so the fried kind is just like a lump of batter with a squishy inside. plucker's fried pickles are sooo much better.
