My wife(works in a very large hospital) has worked directly with cardiac specialists that help people change their lifestyles and eating habits. Even people that are grossly obese are put on diets that are 1200 calories or more. Anything less is just not good.
You really should be taking in around 1500-1800 if you want to lose weight. A guy your size probably needs 2300-2500 just to maintain. Even at 1500-1800 you are 700-1000 calories below your needs.
No, I gain weight eating anymore than I do now. I am 5'7" 125lbs and I dont need alot to keep me going.
I just need to up the cardio and get a little more protien.
Don't get me wrong, I like being small. I don't want to be big and muscular. But I do have a decent build for my size.
