it is basically impossible to have a girl-friend and not think about her sexually at least once or twice. any guy that says otherwise is a liar or hasnt admitted it to himself yet...or gay.
 
From my experience, in any supposedly platonic relationship between a man and a woman (who are both heterosexual), at least one party always wants more. If it's not you, it's surely the other person.
 
From the other side of this debate, I've always had more male friends than female friends. I've had tons of platonic relationships with males. Women are just usually interested in things that I don't care about. I can identify more with my male friends, we have more to talk about.
 
Yes I have several. Once of my best friends is female, and pretty decently hot too. Although I can appreciate her physically, that doesn't enter into my mind, and if she ever approached me in that way I'd be weirded out. It can happen 🙂 And you can learn a lot from these types of relationships ... I know I did. My wife appreciates the friendship because she sees the benefits from some of what I learn about women 😛
