Does anyone here have pet fish? If so, what kind is it? What did you name it (if anything)?

I have a siamese fighting fish (beta fish 😛) and It's name is Hector Ruiz (My fish is the CEO of AMD 😀)
 
I just had a friday fish fry, soon it will be swimming in the toilet.
Does that count?
 
i have angelfish, bronze corys, fire eel, female betta i am in the procces of fixing up my nano salt water tank and trying to breed 2 species of killies.
 
Yea. There names are Mike and Jim and they are my fish. NO ONE Elses!!!!

I had 2 more but Nasty Nate and SquirlMaster stole them from me
 
I have a few. I have a saltwater reef tank with corals, two fish, emerald crabs, hermit crabs and a skunk cleaner shrimp. The fish I have in there are a Percula Clown Fish (think Nemo) named Neptune, and an 4-Line wrasse named Birdy.

I also have a beta, and a dwarf puffer named Emerald in freshwater setups.
 
I don't but right now I am housesitting at my sister's pad and she has a coi (sp?) pond. Those things are huge.

Go spend time to with a porcupine fish and say that. They are almost like having a dog or cat. Someday I want two in a100+ gallon tank in the kitchen somewhere. Probably by a breakfast nook
 
i used to have a fish when i was in chino. his name was harold but he died after he was shived in the bathroom.

But seriously, I have five angels, two clown loaches and a bunch of tetras in my 60 gallon in the living room. My neighbor breeds angels, so I got them all for free!

Don't do that. If you're going to kill them, at least do it humanely. Chill a bowl of water until it's almost freezing, and then drop them into it, or do it with alcohol (like vodka, not rubbing alcohol) instead. Either one will kill them instantly and painlessly as opposed to flushing them down the toilet to be poisoned by sewage or starve to death. That's every bit as cruel as someone letting their bird, cat, or dog go in a remote location and leaving them to die instead of putting them up for adoption or having them put down. Anyone who would do any of those things is a coward and not worth the oxygen they're breathing. Please, don't be one of those losers.
 
Oh, and my wife and I have a bunch of fancy guppies. One is a male Tequila Sunrise guppy (bright yellow with red around the edge of the tail), one is a female... uh... regular fancy guppy? She gave birth to about 35-40 babies about six weeks ago, but they're still too small to tell what they'll look like.
