I actually find it easier to make friends with females for some reason. Always have.

No, I should but I generally only like to either date the ones I'm interested in and not hang around them otherwise.

Yes.

In fact, the majority of my friends are.

They're not "close" friends, but yes.

I don't believe men and women can actually be just friends unless there is something serious the both people respect restricting more from happening, and that is still very difficult. That being said I have a ton of female "friends" that I try hard not to have sex with. But the minute I am in a relationship I'm sure most of these "friends" will disappear.

I can honestly say that I have a lot of female friends and I have had sex with none of them.

I have more women friends than guy friends by a ratio of about 3 to 1.

To paraphrase Bill Clinton - I did not had sex...with the vast majority of those women.

Despite the ratio imbalance, most of my closest friends are guys.

My friends have usually been female or gay.

Female friends usually aren't super close because the boyfriends get paranoid. Gay friends I occasionally lose when I find out they're interested in me...

Yes but they are not your typical fluff (One with a math PhD, two with MS (One Electrical Engineering, one Computer science) and we talk about things we're both interested in (also have two big game hinting female friends; also both degreed professionals) like amateur radio, math, hunting and conservation. Having a vagina instead of penis isn't important in a platonic friendship.

I don't have any female friends. They always get pissed when I ask to see their boobs.

But seriously, I have female acquaintances, but actual "friends" as in get together and hang out? Just the two of us? Not even close. I'm pretty sure my wife is all the happier for it too.

A lot of my female friends are PhDs or Phd students. I've also dated a lot of them.

When you stop dating a woman and become friends, that usually means she never wants to speak to you again, unless she wants to keep dating you. There have been few exceptions to this rule and even then there's often sexual tension.

But seriously, I have female acquaintances, but actual "friends" as in get together and hang out? Just the two of us? Not even close.

Yeah, friends of friends or situational acquaintances don't really count.
