Do you have a good or bad memory?

Is your memory good or bad in your opinion? I think mine is terrible. I wish it was better, I really do. I wouldn't have to worry about not doing well in classes without doing work. Not that I do much or any work at this point, but I could do better in my classes. It really annoys me sometimes... Like sometimes I have to remember something, and it wasn't long ago, but it just completely escapes me, and I'll remember later or something. Or I'll forget something I'm told like two seconds later, but then remember again later.. It's really annoying especially if you're talking about the topic.

Anyone know of any ways to improve memory?...

Long term memory is fine. Short term memory and remembering names isn't so great.

I have a horrible short term memory.
I can't remember things that happened a few hours ago, but I can recall things that happened years ago, with crystal clarity.

i am bad with names of everything, ubt really good with numbers, like if i hear someone say a phone # i could tell it back to you in a few days w/ out trying... but if i meet you once, and dont really talk much, i probably wont know your name... i dont know most of my co-workers names, weven though i work with them all the time :-\

umm as far as long term, its pretty good, sometimes i need a little refreshing, but if i learned something i can pretty much do it later

The way my memory is dates back to before AnandTech, so that really doesn't make a difference. Besides, going weeks/months without AT (done it) doesn't have any effect. If I'm here it's because there is nothing else to do. I'm away from my computer for 12-14hrs of the day. Anything school-related is done during that time. Currently I only have two classes per day, yet I'm at school from 7 to 6 most days, cause that's when my ride is.

I can really remember really really weird stuff and I have a decent long term memory too. My short term memory is ok, but I am horrible with names(probably because most of the time when I meet new people...yeah... )

Actually I know how you feel my short term memory is very poor, and I know that it's because my attention span is bad. I would love to find away to improve my concentration, and I'm sure that would improve my memory.

I have a very good memory. Allthough I only remember things if I want to and if they are important to me. I do not remember anything that is insignificant to me or I feel that has no need to be remembered.
