Do you have a change jar?

Before I started using a Credit Card for everything I kept change jars. I used the big Super Size soda drink cups. At one point I had well over $100 but that was back in high school. Now that I use a credit card for just about everything, I have a change mug but it never gets very full.

I just took a look at your "change jar" please that's such a piddly little thing 😛

Over the course of my college career I was able to fill this bad boy up one and a half times.

It practically paid for my spring break trip jr. year. Saved something close to $500 in it.

Heh one day I was at my friends house and he was trying to figure out how to pay for his turbo kit for his Subaru. Anyway after counting all of his funds up we found we were about $200 short. Anyway so I suggested that we count out his change (umm its not really a jar but a tube about 6" wide and like 4 feet tall). It was about 1/2 filled. Anyway so we spent like the next 3 hours counting it out. And excluding the pennies it was over $400. We decided to screw the pennies and just take those to coinstar friggin had like $50 in pennies that would have taken quite a while.

Well just started...but your jar does look pretty good.

Yep, I have a change jar. It used to fill up every few months. But the last few years I have used cash less and less, and therefore have less change to drop in it.

Maybe I should start a jar of expired CCs and DCs?

No pic but I have a change tray. Its original purpose was to dump my pocket change in it when I undressed. I'll bet it has twenty dollars in it right now.

Do you guys just bring all your change to the bank and they count it? Or how do you get it cashed? (paper money)

My bank pours it into a machine that counts it in a few seconds.
