Do you hate weddings?
Usually...but then I hate pretty much any function that involves formal wear.

Receptions, OTOH, can be entertaining if there's an open bar and nice collection of the bride's single lady friends in attendance.

"yes, i hate them. the only reason i go is for the food at the reception"

Yes, I too dislike them. The only two things I ever enjoy about weddings is getting to show off my outfits and eating great food if it isn't a poor couple's wedding. 😛 Really though, it's too traditional for me. I like things that aren't traditional (e.g., something creative and done by the couples themselves). I love to feel sincerity around me. And often I have to wonder if people mean what they say. Basically, I feel lucky for not having to be the one in the bride's dress at the moment.

Guys who don't like weddings obviously are unaware of the effect a wedding has upon the sex drive of a bridesmaid...

😉

Ive decided that Im getting married at Skywalker Ranch.

Now I just have to find a woman who agrees with me.......

I like receptions.

Asian receptions ... the best food...

Washington D.C, Harvest Moon Resturant, they have wedding parties every weekend. The party room is big. It's very easy to sneak in. But If you want a part time job waiting tables , you can make a couple hundreds a night.

Avoid Vietnamnese weddings, after party fights are not pretty.

will get back to you on that one

< - is a groomsman at his sister's wedding in June. Can't wait for the bridesmaids

Yes. I am convinced weddings were invented by women.
And guys like you invented Circle Jerks
ROFL!

Really though I do dislike going to them. Better than funerals though.

I have a friend who would argue that they are one and the same.

yes cause there pointless and cost too much money

average wedding - 10,000$

plane ticket to vegas - 300$
wedding in vegas w? elvis - 75$

you save - 9625$

Weddings are boring, but the receptions are better when you have an open bar.

On a funny note, a friend of mine got married last year, and Chelsea Clinton was the maid of honor at the wedding (the bride and Chelsea grew up together). This means that Bill and Hillary Clinton were there also. It was fun drinking with Clinton and talking to his secret security guys that followed him around. Bill and Hilary didn't stay to long but it was cool to chat with him on such a personal basis. Me and my friends even got a chance to dance with Chelsea on the dance floor which was sorta fun.

I hate topic that carry onto the body of the post. It's a bad habbit. Save people's time, post "Do you hate weddings" in the topic!
