Do you hate when people talk about karma?

It makes me laugh that there are so many people that ridicule the idea of God existing but at the same time believe in a mystical force known as Karma that brings justice and balance for good and bad deeds but has no intelligent agent behind it. It just somehow works.

I find the whole "good" karma, "bad" karma thing funny. According to my World Religions class, all Karma is bad. Hindu's try to get rid of all their Karma in order to obtain enlightenment. Buddhists also try to get rid of their Karma.

I just wanted to clarify, I don't mean people who believe in it as a part of their religion....people believe all kinds of wacky things for their religion so I forgive them I mean the OTHER people.

You didn't pay much attention, did you? Jainism considers all karma bad. In Buddhism, samsaric karma can be either 'good' or 'bad' but one remains in the cycle of samsara forever. There is also another form of karma that is neither good or bad, but allows one to break the cycle of rebirth and enter Nirvana. In Hinduism, karma refers to the totality of ones actions, either good or bad. If you sow good, you reap good. If you sow bad, you reap bad.
