Do you hate vegetables?

I do. :)

Lettuce, carrots, corn, broccoli, pea's, tomatoes(technically a fruit). Yuck. Don't want them on my sandwiches. Don't want it in my pasta. Don't want it dipped in ranch dressing. Just flat out don't like the taste, and I really, really don't like the texture of them. In the 25 years of my existance, I've never ate a salad.

Any other veggie haters out there? I've got rock bottom low cholesterol, excellent blood pressure, a little bit of pudge around the gut...but not much...and I'm healthy as horse. Do I *really* even need them?

I dislike some veggies. Like others. My favorite salad is just lettuce & cucumbers w/ italian dressing. I like fresh baby carrots, I like corn and broccoli but I hate peas, tomatoes, green beans, lima beans, cooked carrots, etc etc.

I like frozen vegatables, not canned ones. Freshly picked peas are pretty good too. Tomatoes are my favorite! I'm gonna go eat some right now:)

Nope, sorry. I really like most veggies. I was one of those weird kids who liked stuff kids are supposed to hate (lima beans, broccoli, etc).

I do eat a fair amount of meat (generally chicken and fish with the odd new york strip now and then), but I'll typically have one or two veggie sides with dinner.

In the same boat as you except I don't like any green vegetables or anything in the pea family...The exceptions being green beans when cooked properly(Ham bone please) and raw broccoli and celery.

I take a vitamin supplement from GNC called Green Food I think. Not eating veggies are bad for you but I don't know exactly why..

I like all forms of lettuce (head, boston, red leaf, romaine, etc), tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots (try them carmalized), corn and greenbeans (only fresh or french cut). I force myself to eat broccoli to help stay regular , but most other vegetables I can't stand.

I try eating them. Like today, I had a subway sandwhich and had them put lettuce and cucumbers on it. I just couldn't stand the crunchiness of them. That, and I really didn't like the taste of them either. Is there any way, short of dumping half a bottle of ranch dressing on stuff to make it more palatable?

I do eat green beans. I really like them cooked in a crock pot with potatos and bacon. Mmmmmmm...yummy.

Regularity isn't a problem. More than regular, and I get lots of fiber from cereal in morning.

Celery makes me ***so*** angry!!!

Did you know that you burn more calories eating celery than you get from eating it?

You could starve to death while eating your fill of this stuff!

I hate peas and cooked carrots unless they are in a Chicken Pot Pie. I detest Pickled Beets,Artichoke, especially when served with Mayo (might as well just use a spoon to eat the Mayo) Turnips suck too. Everything else tastes pretty good, especially when grilled.

Sorry, I love Veggies.

It has as much to do with imagination and preparation methods as with the taste and texture.

Steam those veggies, for example, they'll taste great!

**Tune in next week to the ATOT Food Network where we'll be discussing Potato salad preparation tips**

I like most veggies. Salads are ok with some dressing. There are lots of tasty Chinese veggie dishes. :)

As far as I am concerned salad is just a delivery method for the salad dressing. No way I would eat it dry.
