Pretty funny--Ben Folds, whose music I love, did a b-side that is basically a parody, he's mocking boy bands.
It's actually kinda creepy, especially if you're familiar with Ben's music, cause it's nothing even similar to this--but he managed to nail that boy band sound/lyrics right on the head.
Check it out: Ben Folds--"Girl"
I gave it a good chuckle. He seems to be doing that lately,
also check out Rockin' the Suburbs, it is making fun of Limp Bizkit and Korn .
If you want to hear some more of Ben's (actual, serious) music, I suggest "One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces", "Annie Waits", "The Luckiest", or "Gone" to start with. He's just awesome, and apparently he can be funny as hell too.
Since nobody's gonna download it, here's a taste of the lyrics to Rockin the Suburbs:
"Lemme tell y'all what it's like
bein male, middle-class, and white
it's a b!tch if you don't believe
listen up to my new cd
sham on
skipping a verse here....
i'm rockin the suburbs
just like michael jackson did
i'm rockin the suburbs
except that he was talented
i'm rockin the suburbs
take the checks and face the facts
that some producer with computers
fixes all my sh!tty tracks"
lol cracks me up every time.
