Do you guys think a GTX 880 6gb card will be out by november?

I have till november to use my evga step-up program, do any of you think an GTX 880 will be out by then? If not then I think I should just return my card while I still can

I doubt a 6GB GTX 880 will be out at any time ever.

The GTX 880 is supposed to have a 256bit memory bus. So, it should be 2gig, 4gig, and/or 8gig.

To answer your intended question, it's supposed to be. Returning your current card seems silly. It will surely cost you a lot of money to do that (restocking fees, money spent on the trade up program, shipping, etc...)

Why do you need a 6GB card? It's only expected in 4 and 8 GB variants and with current games its unlikely to make a difference and with future games the 880 is unlikely to be able to handle them in higher resolutions anyway so the VRAM issue is moot.

It's not the top Maxwell GPU, it's like the 680 was. We'll see the TI and/or Titanish models to follow. Likely after the next node shrink is available, whatever/whenever that is.
