do you guys like concerts....even "B" concerts

I mean these aren't your popular groups of today but this place is like 10 minutes away from me and it is good old music (I'm 26 btw). Do you think it is worth $40 to see:

Iron Maiden with Dio and Motorhead
and/or
G3: Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen

btw: find some Malmsteen if you haven't heard that guy before...he can simply FLY on the fretboard.

:Q $40 is a STEAL. OHH MAN WHERE's THIS CONCERT AT? I've never seen a BETTER line up.. 😀 Dude... That's an A++ Concert 😀

It sounds like you'd enjoy it. If the 40 bucks didn't mean too much I'd go for sure.

Wait. . . Iron Maiden and Motorhead are gonna be there? Why the heck are you even questioning going? Go set that money aside. 😉

I love going to concerts. Punk shows are fun, even if I am 20 and the average attendee is 14. I think it will be even more fun once I turn 21, I can sit at the bar in the back and just watch the band, lay back and enjoy live music over a martini or two.

Concord, CA (it is east bay)...for $55 you can be anywhere from 3-20 rows from the front for these guys. I paid 50 and was 4th row from the front for satriani and dream theater.

being able to say "I saw Yngwie Malmsteen."[and not be lying] seems worth the bills.
i love concerts, though.

Aww MAN!! I remember they were to play on the East coast... Madison Square Garden. I missed it.. I should have checked out the garden box office earlier. Man I feel dumb 🙁 Enjoy that sh!t man 😀 Best concert series out there this summer... (much better than summer sanitation or the ozzy bullsh!t)

Dream Theater will kick some serious @ss. Don't forget leave the earplugs at home 😀

to see that guy's fingers fly across the fretboard would be worth the price right there I guess

DUDE GO SEE THE FSCKING G3 TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those guys are all amazing... I have the dvd from 1997 when it was satriani, vai, and eric johnson and it's one of my favorite live dvds.

hell yes it is! If they were playing anywhere near me, (Except in NYC, don't feel like going down there just for a concert 🙂 ) I'd be all over it!

I went to the Maiden, Dio and Motorhead concert last Saturday here in Houston. It was worth the $100 I paid for 2 tickets.

Whenever I see an IM thread, all I can ever think is:

"I've got two tickets to Iron Maiden, baby. Come with me Friday; don't say maybe. I'm just a teenage dirtbag, baby; like yoooouuuuu, ooiooohoooooooooohohohoh."

😀

If you play guitar and can begin to comprehend how good those guys are, go see them.
I play bass, and when I saw victor wooten live it made me want to throw up.

AHAHAHHA vic wooten is a monster. Anyone knowif Stu Hamm will be playing bass for satriani on this tour again?

I thought I read somewhere that Petrucci from Dream Theatre is joining G3 for a few dates. That guy is also an excellent player.

He's a technical genius but his playing seems to lack some emotion IMO.

I have to really despise the music to not enjoy a concert. Hearing something live really does make crappy music not as crappy.

Oh my god. Why the hell can't we have awesome concerts like this here. Aaarrgh, so worth it.
