I've got a bucnh of Onvia, Buy.com, staples recipets;

I have recieved the items and they are either re-sold, lost, won't be broke or anything so that I need to bring it out to prove I have got them from onvia, buy or staples...

is there any reason to still keep them?

I always keep my receipts. Some can be used as tax deductions at the end of the year and others are proof of purchase should a warranty problem arrise.

As my account always says: If in doubt, deduct it!

I keep receits for computer parts for several reasons:
1. I haven't sold it, or given it away, or installed it yet.
2. I gave the item to charity and need receit for tax records. I'd probably keep the records for 6 years.
3. I'm using the parts in my tax deductable home systems. Same thing, save for 6 years.
4. Naturally I'd keep receits for items under warrenty (some cards have 5 yr. or lifetime) or for rebates you have not received.
