Do you guys hate Halloween too?

Reasons why I hate Halloween:

1) I have to spend money on candy for kids I don't know.
2) Some of those kids are bigger than me.
3) If I have any left over candy, I gain another 5 to 10 pounds from eating it.
4) I don't like waiting for door knocks and hearing knocks on my door.

And lastly...

This year Halloween falls on a Wednesday which means that I will be disturbed by knocking doors while I try to watch Star Trek: Enterprise.

No way, how can you pass up free candy?! ... Even if I don't go trick or treating this year, I'll end up with leftover candy which I can eat. (Although then its not free) ... Thats why I only buy the candies I like to eat 😉

I never gave candy to the teenagers who came up without a costume...in fact, ANYONE without a costume got no candy.

Halloween candy is ridiculously cheap. like $6-$7 for 100 mini chocolate bars...come on!

Ah...I see....

Well, you should dress up like Dr. Spock and at least stay busy for the night, you're never too old to go Trick-or-Treating 😀

Halloween may well be my favorite holiday of all time, and it has nothing to do with candy or trick-or-treating.

Whats really sad is what is going on in schools today. Most of us when we were kids dressed up for halloween for school and had a great time.

In a school nearby, children are no longer allowed to dress up on Halloween for school because it might "offend" someone who doesn't like the holiday.

This PC Crap has got to stop.

Halloween rocks! It's harmless fun that harkens back to a more innocent time. With the world as it is today, I'm all for letting kids be lil' beggars for a day and not having the weight of the world on their shoulders for the time being.

I totally agree with you on this one Texmaster...I think it is a total crock. If my kids wants to dress up for halloween and the school system says no, they are violating my freedom of expressions. I say phuck em..I'd go by an adult costume to go pick up my kid if they got kicked out for wearing a costume, with a bag of candy and take my trick or treating to the school.

It may have been based on something bad in the past, but it's all about the candy baby...

What's next? No Santa Clauses at the mall because it might offend non-christians?

what the hell is wrong with you people? halloween is the best holiday... the women have an excuse to dress up like sluts! all those nurses and vampires.... mmmmmmmm.......

Last year I had like 3 kids actually wearing costumes. I was a pushover last year and still gave the KIDS without costumes a little candy. This year, no costume = door slammed in face.

Halloween is the best holliday. I am 25 and still dress up and throw big parties. I cant believe someone would choose TV over fun.

Tape it..

<< I just don't like strangers knocking at my door -- it fills me with anxiety.... >>

Get a damn grip! Take your meds and pass out some candy to the kids. Or better yet, just leave an empty bowl outside your place with the sign "Take One." That'll solve all your problems -- except for being a heartless, Halloween-hating bastard! 😉

Halloween kicks a$$.

Santa Claus has nothing to do with being Christian or non-Christian.

I love getting those religous pamphlets instead of candy. I take a bite out of them right infront of the people who gave it to me. I don't know what I'll be doing in that situation this year, but it will not be subtle.

I love Halloween. I like to see all the little kids costumes. and I like to bribe the older ones to not egg our house.😀
