Usually wait for the weekends... But once in a while I don't mind having a beer after work, though it never stops at one.

Habits are hard to break. Find a better habit.
(Nothing wrong with occasional drink).

Only when I'm depressed. Hasn't happened for years, but used to do it a lot. Wasn't all to healthy for me, be careful.

Yeah it does not stop at one for sure, but it does pick up my mood...

Hmmm I don't think I'm depressed per se... just not as happy as I used to be i guess.

When I first started drinking I would have Baileys but then I started to look forward to that drink a bit too much and started to look at harder drinks.

Heeding the warnings the good folks here in OT I stopped drinking alone and saved it for the weekends with experienced friends, then every other weekend, now I haven't even touched my stash for a month. And though I like to drink I still say it's bad for you, thats why I cut waaay back so my liver will be there when I need it.

Drinking alone is always bad.

When my buddy and I used to work together, we would occasionally (2x per weekdays) have a couple beers after work
But now those days are quite seldom. :(

I have 2~3 beers or a drink or two almost every day after work. It does not matter if I am alone or with friends (or at home or at the bar) either. Growing up I watched my dad (and friends dad's) have a beer or two when getting home from work and always thought of it as normal behaviour.

To be 100% honest, I usually have a glass of whisky or scotch (which keeps getting refilled) within about five minutes of being home. A lot of times, I start off earlier at a bar.

At a minimum I have a glass of wine while I unwind after work/gym. If I cook anything decent ill have a beer or another glass of wine with dinner. Then sometimes ill have a glass of bourbon before bed.

So yeah, me likes my booze.

they don't call it Happy Hour for nothing. Grab a couple of co-workers and talk about non-work stuff. You'll be surprised about how much more reliable they are once you earn their trust (and vice versa).

at my office, we drink AT work on Friday afternoons!
One advantage to having Budweiser as your largest customer :)
